Just want to say that audible.com and Amazon.com are two favorite book suppliers. Kindle on BlackBerry is an awesome deal. I HAVE to have it lol :)
Just had a baby, praise the LORD :) Her name is Legacy Wright-Gross. When I was pregnant with her, a dear friend of mine recommended to me the book "Supernatural Childbirth" by Jackie Mize. She told me that she had no pain when she gave birth to her first son, and was excitedly pregnant again even though the first child was only 1 at the time. Her and her husband shared recollections of perplexed nurses and a great joy in delivery of their child together. Reading it and having her as a friend imparted that faith into me, and when Kenny and I went to the hospital to have this baby, we shared the same experience. My pain was minimal and the delivery was quick. Quite the contrast to the first FOUR pregnancies, and I thank GOD that it was nothing like the first 4 times! Fear was gone from me and I prayed and joked and smiled through the process. I am not afraid of pregnancy or childbearing anymore, and am convinced that it was never God's intention for women to have to suffer through childbearing. Also, that Jesus Christ has provided us the redemption from the curse on Eve. We, too, can enjoy the promise that, "Nevertheless, she shall be saved in childbearing..."-1 Timothy 2:15
Here is the link to the book. If you would like to, give this book a shot! Check it out. Kindle has the quickest delivery method available. I believe that faith can and will make pregnancy and childbearing truly a blessing!

Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich, and Thou Shalt Prosper by Rabbi Daniel Lapin
Outwitting the Devil was mind-blowing. First of all, who would have thought that Napoleon Hill, who wrote Think and Grow Rich, would write such a theologically and prophetically inspiring book that carried all of the weight that Think and Grow Rich carried in a more potent fashion? He states that the interviewee, "The Devil", is exactly who he claims himself to be, whether in vision or in reality. The wisdom that he writes of in this book is beyond question so potent that one may be able to check the validity of it with their own experience. The "Devil" in Napoleon Hill's book answers the question of why man fails, what exactly the Devil battles against man for, and how he goes about it in order to stop him from ever being successful, thus lending him vulnerable to a life of "drifting" and a death of eternal damnation. He states that the devil's greatest fear is a man who is determined and has an independent mind. The devil gives clarity about his devices and tactics that he uses against mankind to stop him from being productive thinkers and thus helping other human beings while they are on earth. It is shocking to hear the words of your adversary in such plain tones.
The only downfall of the book is it leaves one with many questions as to how to really make the changes that the "Devil" suggests in order to go from being a "drifter" to being a "non-drifter" who is painted as the picture of overall success in the world and who does not sin. The "Devil" even explains just what sin is in the book, and it's actually more simple than one might have thought...
Think and Grow Rich was a great stair step with an action plan for success that is obviously influenced by the same principles that Outwitting the Devil provides. The fact that Napoleon Hill brings out so much wisdom from the text from the interview in the other book makes the road to wealth book a must read.
However, reading Think and Grow Rich did not offer me the spiritual understanding that I needed to answer the theological questions that Outwitting the Devil presented. However, I did find a book by a Jewish entrepreneur named Rabbi Daniel Lapin called Thou Shalt Prosper, that, if read with enough discernment, may be found to give so many answers to the questions that Outwitting the Devil presented that one would be shocked.
In Thou Shalt Prosper, Rabbi Daniel Lapin endeavors to teach one what Jewish tradition contributes to the mindset of successful Jewish entrepreneurs and why these principles (Biblically-based) are so successful in propelling many Jews into becoming wealthy and prosperous both in finances and spirit.
He talks about the culture of America and how it teaches that "business is bad" because "business" is an altogether spiritual act. He gets to the roots of the myths about Jewish success and explains why they're not real. He relates to environmentalists and he teaches about the four basic motivations of mankind. He does it with scripturally-based wisdom and really draws out concepts from the Bible that are highly uncommon in America.
I recommend reading Outwitting the Devil and then follow that by reading Think and Grow Rich, and then Thou Shalt Prosper. You will be blessed in your endeavors to grow in wisdom about business. If anyone has anymore suggestions for readings in this vein, please post your comments below and let me know. I'd be more than willing to check them out!

Same Spot, Different Season by Pastor Rod Swinson and Groundhog Day! =)
Concerning trials: The devil is not trying to play any games with us. Neither to distract, to deter, to trick, or to scare us. He's after our lives. We must rebuke him rather than allow him to break us down with his devices. They are not little games designed to knock us off balance. They are intentional warfare strategies designed to kill, steal, and destroy the manifestation of our purposes on this earth. We are only here for a season, we must be able to fight.
Also, if you are in a season of waiting, it feels painful. It is just like when a person first gets earrings they really hurt. But with time, they heal, and the person can place the earrings in and out of the hole with very little effort. Growing pains are the same way. The trying of our faith works patience. So we must be able to endure hardships for a season. I have 4 children and know that when the birthing is over, you have the baby and then your body returns to its previous state as if there were no baby in there at all (given you take better care of yourself and such). This process is for the glory of the LORD. If the pressure is beyond reason then perhaps you should be bracing yourself because your season is about to be over! Though you may be in hard labor as a mother for up to a few days, it is only for a few days! And if you prepare properly for the birthing... that's right, a few minutes baby. A few minutes.
I watched this movie called "Groundhog Day" the other week, and the concept was similar. This weatherman awoke to the same day, every day. For like a year! He first realized it would happen and then crashed a car. The next day he slept with an easy woman. The next day he tried to woo the woman he was in love with from day one. Then months after studying her on that same day over and over, when he realized he'd never win her heart in a day, he tried to kill himself. All because he was waking up in the same place at the same time every day, at 6am on Groundhog Day. The same day. He'd awake and things would reset. He would die and then wake up again the next day. He got to see them all see him at the morgue. They got to see him fuss on the Groundhog Day newscast. They saw his good, his bad, his ugly. Groundhog Day again??? Great day to die!
But when he truly realized that if things never changed that he could not Escape, even by death, he decided to Change HIMSELF.
He could change his level of knowledge. He could change his attitude. So he did. He started paying $1,000 a day for piano lessons. He started giving to the poor, and saving people from breaking their leg, and doing the Heimlech maneuver on people. He even bought massive amounts of life insurance from a brand new amateur insurance salesman! He became a regular hero. And one night, he fell asleep and said, no matter where I wake up tomorrow, I will be OKAY. And the next day, he woke up next to the woman he adored, and it was the day after Groundhog Day! She had fallen for him and she had fallen asleep beside him fully clothed at his hotel room suite. He was rejoicing because he finally had done all the right things and now that he was a better person, he was able to move forward with his life! Good thing it didn't end on one of his suicide days, huh? =) Well, thank God He has mercy to save us alive through Our trials too.
So if you feel like you are in Groundhog Day just like this man was I encourage you to pray and seek God about what you may need to do in order to be made better. The devil does want us dead, so rebuke the devil and don't give him any authority in your life through sin whether commissive or omissive. Then change yourself and always, always, always FORGIVE. And if you are not in Groundhog Day, there is always room for growth. Still seek God and consider these men's stories. God is always doing something brand new and in fact, He has it all mapped out for us from the beginning. Just gotta seek Him!! =)
And on that note, this blog post has become quite cumbersome, I better get with my babies ;). Love you! God bless you and have a wonderful day!
